Aged in a combination of French and American oak, this medium-bodied Cabernet Franc drinks like a much more expensive wine. Juicy flavours of ripe currants and blackberry develop on the palate and carry through on the lingering finish with added notes of black tea and cocoa. Serve at a cool room temperature of 16 to 18°C with grilled steak with mushrooms, herbed lamb chops, Portobello burgers, beef wraps, beef and red pepper kabobs and hard cheeses.
