This Ripasso styled wine was made from Cabernet Franc (45%), Merlot (39%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (16%) grapes using the Italian tradition of aging wine on the pressed grape skins from wine made using the Appassimento method and then aged in oak barrels for 12 months.  The result is a wine that displays jammy dark berry fruit aromas and flavours and supported by notes of oak and spice. This medium body wine with supple tannins pairs well with grilled meats, charcuterie and hard cheeses.
