More than 50 years ago, owners John and Barbara Neufeld saw the immense potential of their 115-hectare Niagara Lakeshore property. Situated in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, the winery estate is preserved off of the beaten path and has maintained its status as NOTL’s best kept secret. Today, Palatine Hills Estate Winery remains in the hands of the Neufeld family and is run by third generation Neufeld Brothers, Johnny and Charles. Award-winning wines made from 100% estate grown grapes, this is a true estate winery. With every step from bud to bottle made by the brothers who grew up on the land, they only produce wines that they can be proud of. We are not your typical winery. Enjoy this special place outside on our patio surrounded by serenity. We are a place to gather with friends, family, and pups! We are ‘Made for the Wild’.

WINEMAKER PROFILE
Where It All Began
Niagara-on-the-Lake has been home to the Palatine Hills Estate for over four decades. Family owned and operated, the farm and vineyard was founded by John and Barbara Neufeld. Early on they recognized the potential their land had and a vision for what they wanted their winery to become.
Over The Years
Winemaking begins in the vineyard, a founding principle of the Neufeld family that still rings true today. As expert grape growers, the family has taken great pride in growing and transforming Palatine Hills for decades, pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a winery.
The True Adventure
Fast forward to today, Palatine Hills still remains a family affair, with two generations of Neufeld’s bringing their passion to the winery and all that they do. The winery continues to be rooted in tradition but the Neufeld’s are always looking forward to the future and adventures ahead.
