Drea’s small batch wines are crafted in memory of her father, iconic pioneering winemaker, Karl J. Kaiser, who affectionately called her 'Drea'. The wines in her collection follow his philosophies, with a focus on natural fruit flavours and aromas, are well balanced with a bright acidity, and are bone dry. Her Sauvignon Blanc was recently recognized as ‘distinguished’ by world renowned wine writer Jancis Robinson. Drea selected this varietal for her first wine release as, after retiring, her father would make a special ‘batch’ of Sauvignon Blanc in his home cellar. The aromas and flavours are bright and fresh with classic gooseberry notes on the nose and palate. Fermented in only stainless steel and bone dry.
