2020 Blanc de Blanc

Drea’s small batch wines are crafted in memory of her father, iconic pioneering winemaker, Karl J. Kaiser, who affectionately called her 'Drea'. The wines in her collection follow his philosophies, with a focus on natural fruit flavours and aromas, are well balanced with a bright acidity, and are bone dry. Her Sauvignon Blanc was recently recognized as ‘distinguished’ by world renowned wine writer Jancis Robinson. While Drea selected Sauvignon Blanc as her first wine release, she always knew she would need to add a sparkling wine to her collection, a classic brut ‘Blanc de Blanc’ with elegant fine bubbles made by ‘Traditional Method'. This wine spent two years on the lees before being disgorged, when we remove the yeast and then cork the wine. It is made with Chardonnay and shows classic notes of apple and lemon on nose and palate and of course is bone dry with a bright acidity. Life is always better with bubbles!
