2021 Runway White

An appealing, aromatic white blend composed 100% of grapes grown in the Black Bank Hill vineyard, hand-picked and estate bottled.   The wine is composed of 46% Viognier, 26% Gewürztraminer, 17% Chardonnay, and 11% Chenin Blanc. Lemon curd, nectarine, honeysuckle, orange liqueur, hay, caraway seed. A subtle oak component adds roundness, depth and the warming influence of baking spices on the palate.   A pleasing creaminess on the mid-palate from partial malolactic fermentation, with the Chenin contributing freshness, citrus and acidity to the finish.
