2020 Syrah

The 38-acre property is named for its heavy red clay soil and large stones, and is perfect for maturing late-ripening varietals like Syrah. This structured wine was aged 16 months in French oak, and displays notes of red raspberry, cranberry and black currant. On the palate there are notes of ripe fruits with dried herbs, coffee and cocoa powder. Strong tannins are present which will soften as the wine ages.
