This wine is certainly focused, fleshy and full but still very accessible. It lures you into the inside where a flurry of rich field berry, cassis, dark roast coffee and well-worn leather awaits. Although Clone 327’s imposing heft is apparent immediately, its weight is carried elegantly on a sturdy, balanced tannin structure that keeps everything open. The lean frame easily supports this powerful wine and promises that it will allow for even more growth in the bottle.
