2016 Merlot

Named for its heavy red clay soil and large stones the Redstone estate vineyard is perfect for maturing late-ripening varietals like Merlot. This is a full bodied, complex wine with strong tannin structure. On the nose there are notes of prunes and graphite and eucalyptus. The pal- ate mimics these flavours with the addition of dark chocolate and tomato leaf.
