Step beyond the tasting room into our vineyard for an immersive, hands-on introduction to a key stage of the growing season: winter pruning. Guided by Strewn’s founder Joe and Vineyard Manager Sefton, you will learn why vines are pruned each year and how this essential practice influences vine health, yield, and the quality and character of our wines.

Following a brief introduction to vine anatomy and pruning principles, you will safely prune vines in one of Strewn’s estate vineyard blocks, gaining a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship and decision-making that begins long before harvest.

This experience will run rain or shine. As vineyard conditions may be wet or muddy, guests are encouraged to dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear for working in the vineyard.
