An intense red currant and blueberry nose, tilted towards a beguiling, perfumed red raspberry syrup. Mary Delaney (who has been behind the scenes at LcJ with Thomas since its inception in 2003), finds a rich-fruited cherry marzipan in the mouth, along with a surprisingly rich and weighty plummy richness, and a gentle kiss of wood smoke & dried mushrooms. The Jordan Village finishes long with a fine-tannined, frank, slatey blueberry and tartred fruit-tinged, chalky sensibility.
