Visual: Dark garnet colour with light purple nuances and fairly heavy legs. Nose: Rich and aromatic bouquet of black fruit, blackcurrants, plum and cassis with hints of oak spice and floral notes. Second nose displays riper red fruits with a bit of vanilla bean.
Palate: Rich and smooth attack of ripe blackberries with a fresh and vibrant acidity. The midpalate is broad with elegant fruit aromatics supported by a firm but ripe structure of tannins and a velvety texture. Long and persistent finish on fresh wild berries and a creamy texture.

Meats: Barbecue, sirloin steak, grilled pork chops. Cheese: soft and hard. Especially good with pasta Bolognese and classic thin-crust pizzas.
