A very generous Sauvignon Blanc from our Niagara Lakeshore vineyards. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve its extremely expressive aromas of lime zest, ripe honeydew melon, classic notes of gooseberry and grapefruit with a slight herbaceous twang of freshly cut grass. Throughout the nose, there is a pervasive minerality, providing a vibrant freshness. The palate immediately mirrors the nose, with the same grapefruit and honeydew melon taking centre stage. More intense key lime pie and lemongrass help to balance the ever-present mineral notes. Fresh and crisp with a searing acidity, this wine is incredibly food friendly but will also happily be the centre of attention if sipped alone.
