The 2022 Righteous Dude Riesling represents the return of Reisling to our portfolio, as well the first look at our 2022 vintage. “The Dude” is 100% sourced from Bob Nedelko’s nearly 30-year-old Riesling vines planted on the Twenty Mile Bench in Niagara. Our intent with this vintage was to create a classic Germanic style, off-dry Reisling. To achieve this, this vintage was made naturally off-dry by utilizing a slow, controlled, cold fermentation that was halted early to keep the alcohol low, and to preserve the refreshing acidity of the 2022 harvest. This first look at the 2022 vintage is promising, as the Righteous Dude Riesling showcases a nice balance of acidity, sweetness, and stoney precision.   Gold Medal Winner at the National Wine Awards
