The Two Sisters Sauvignon Blanc continues the tradition of creating wonderfully complicated and balanced Sauvignon Blanc. This wine was carefully crafted to showcase the unique varietal character, which results from local terroir and exceptional winemaking technique. This Sauvignon Blanc provides an enticing contrast of fresh, crisp fruit flavors and an enticing herbaceousness. Grapefruit, lemon, melon, green bean, tomato leaf and sweet herbs abound on the nose. The palate is decidedly dry and wonderfully complicated, delivering layers of juicy citrus and subtle tropical fruit, contrasted by notes of lemongrass, sweet herbs and uncooked asparagus. These two very different aspects of this extraordinary wine result in a delicious tension on the palate. Citrus zest, lively acidity and great balance linger through the surprisingly long finish, unexpected for a Sauvignon Blanc. Awarded a Silver Medal at the National Wine Awards of Canada.
