Cherry compote and vanilla jump out of the glass followed by a mild fruitcake-like spice. Merlot’s round and plush mouthfeel is exaggerated with this vintage, with an opulence that is rare to find in Niagara. This wine is very approachable in its youth, but will age gracefully for the next 5-10 years.
