2020 Chardonnay Select

This is a very pleasing and easy to drink example of Chardonnay. The nose shows the baking spice of oak aging, but it is supported by fruit and non-fruit aromas. Ripe golden delicious apple, pear, and white peach with wafer and button mushroom. The palate is dry, fresh (acid), yet ripe, and long. I don’t need anything to enjoy this wine, but I am craving a classic beer-battered fish and chips with pickle-y tartar sauce.
