This is a medium bodied red wine, made from 100% Merlot, perfect for red meats. It is nicely structed and will age wonderfully (if you can leave it alone)! Tasting notes for this wine are : This medium bodied deep burgundy coloured wine has black cherry, plum, red berry notes on the nose. It has a smooth subtle taste with hints of coffee, medium tannins and a clean finish. This wine has great structure and will age for many years, if you can ignore it. The wine will be a great accompaniment to prime rib with garlic and mushrooms, beef Wellington, dark chocolate, old or smoked cheddar, or just on it’s own.
