Merlot (49%), Cabernet Franc (43%), Cabernet Sauvignon (8%)
This sleek, juicy wine was made from grapes sourced from select vineyards in the Niagara Peninsula. Aging in French and American cooperage for 10 months has knitted together ripe tannins over a medium-bodied frame interwoven with a dash of sultry new oak, crushed red fruit, and a firm backbone of acidity which naturally marked the 2019 growing season. This elegant blend lends suppleness to the palate that allows for real pleasure now with aging potential for surely a decade. Pair with beef dishes such as a well-aged Ribeye steak lightly charred on the BBQ, a classic pot roast, or a rich Italian meat sauce. After dinner with aged cow's milk cheese such as cheddar or Comte. For lighter options, try it with a portobello burger or a roasted vegetable lasagna.
Dry 1-6 g/L
