As Niagara’s original meadery, Rosewood is owned and operated by a multi-generational beekeeping family. The winemaking is led by Ryan Corrigan, with previous experience in Napa Vally, Okanagan Valley, New Zealand and Europe before returning home. The team employs traditional, Old-World winemaking techniques with modern equipment to create elegant, textured and balanced wines.

Ryan Corrigan. Or Rye. Our Captain.
Denim and leather jacket wearing local from Burlington who fell in love with unconventional wines on a sunny day eating local cheese and wine in Arbois, France.
Ryan likes to walk on the wild side of winemaking, as such Rosewood’s wines are a unique and eclectic mix of wild ferments, skin-contact, amphora (clay) fermented, whole-bunch vintage driven expressions.
