Serving up the best locally crafted foods and beverages, we believe that supporting local is more than just a tagline, we put it into practice in each area of our restaurant.
From where we source our ingredients, to which breweries, distilleries and wineries we put behind our bar, to the building supplies and furniture we use, local is at the very core of everything we do at Borealis.
We acknowledge that our wineries and vineyards are on the traditional territories of the Anishinabewaki, the Attiwonderonk, the Haudenosaunee, the Mississauga and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Ojibwe, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi People. As guests of this land, we thank Indigenous Peoples for caring and protecting the lands and waters on which we work and live. In the spirit of peace, friendship and respect to all Indigenous Peoples who have and continue to live and work on these lands, we will continue to honour this place we call home.
