A surprisingly complicated wine, with an inviting nose of poached pear, ripe apple, hints of baking spice and ginger, and an underlying minerality. The palate is brilliant and complex, with yellow apple, ripe pear, melon and ginger. This Chardonnay has a wonderful mouthfeel as the slightly creamy texture and lively acidity complement the flavors, and there’s also that lovely hint of minerality that lingers in the finish.
