Chardonnay grapes were harvested September 22 through October 6 from our long-standing growers within the Niagara Peninsula. Barrel fermented and aged sur lie for 10 months in 100% French oak barrels without malolactic fermentation.
Clear and bright with a straw yellow hue and bouquet of yellow apple, tropical fruit, pear, spice, and toasty oak. The mouthfeel is slightly rich and round with refreshing acidity and flavours of tropical fruit, melon, pear, spice, oak, and butter. The lingering finish shows notes of grilled lemon, lime, green apple, and toasty oak.
