Rosehall Run
As is customary with our dry Rosé, this is a Gamay dominant field blend. Along with Gamay, various lots including Cabernet Franc and Tempranillo were added to this vintage cuvee. The ferment to dryness took place in temperature controlled stainless steel set around 12-16 degrees Celsius. Bottling took place in April after resting on lees for approximately 5 months.
Vibrant, fruity nose with notes of strawberry and watermelon. A refreshing field berry taste with light floral notes and a touch of bright acidity. A very easy drinking rose for the summer season. Excellent pairing with summer salads, especially those featuring goat cheese or a similar salty cheese. A nice pairing with light lunches such as quiche or tuna melts.
