Whole cluster pressed then 100% barrel fermented in 20% new oak, 80% seasoned. 100% malolactic fermentation in barrel. Flint and wet limestone open on the nose, completed by floral blossoms and hints of almost tropical fruit. The mouth is bold with ripe cantaloupe, almond paste, and hints of peach or nectarine skins. Complex with tremendous weight and good salinity, leading to a complex finish showing preserved lemons.
