Casa-Dea Estates Winery
This picturesque property was the first winery on Greer Road (near Hillier), now one of the County’s main wine streets. The 63-acre vineyard was planted through the early part of the last decade to grow Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. Winemaker Paul Battilana took the helm, finishing the 2008s and making the 2009s, which included the addition of sparkling wine to the lineup. The Cucina Italiana is open for casual lunches and dinners during the summer, doubling as a wedding and event space. The wine shop often features local artwork.
