Creekside Estate Winery
Since its inception in 1997, Creekside has delivered a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and exceptional, bright wines. The wine styling is decidedly bold, with winemaker Rob Power notching all kinds of national and local medals for Broken Press and Reserve Shiraz. Red and white Laura’s Blends are very successful, as are recent Cuvée 2011 winners Sauvignon Blanc Reserve and Viognier. The new undercurrent series of one-off single-barrel lots, available only at the winery, is reason enough to visit. The outdoor grill deck is another: It’s open on summer weekends and features local, seasonal fare by chef Mark Hand.

Featured wine
Our first vintage is one to get excited about. The 2010 vintage was very kind to both grape varieties in this blend and produced a rich, ripe red with plenty of weight and complexity. The Cabernet Sauvignon gives lush texture with black raspberry and currant fruit. The Shiraz gives lighter fruit and black pepper spice notes. The palate is rich, smooth and has enough stuffing to stand up to a variety of grilled meat dishes. Drink 2012 – 2018
